Yup, the Steelers did pretty well for themselves back then. You guys ruined it for my Dallas Cowboys in two SB games, but we got ya in the third!

@USA1 I think dallas can hold it together this year while the rest of the division implodes. I'm a Giants fan, I felt good a few weeks ago but we need a friggin miracle at this point.

@mattplasse88
Yeah, the Giants didn't look too good last night. Brees threw that rock for 500 yds against them. Your pass rushers and DB's were anemic. I am hoping it stays that way for our two meetings coming up.
But you know it will be a close contest as usual. I think we'll split it.

@USA1 ---the cowboys and steelers have the greatest inter-conference rivalry in the nfl---and that wouldn't be the case if the cowboys had lost super bowl 30----

Those Steel Curtain guys were by far the greatest defense of all time.

The book "False Glory",by Steelers offensive lineman Steve Courson,details the rampant use of steroids that was going on at this time.

@echo4250 ---courson experimented with some cutting edge enhancements--but anabolic steroids became much more widely used in sports later--bradshaw admitted steroid use--but those steroids were used to reduce pain and speed healing ---why has no other player of those teams of '74-'79 corroborated courson's story?---if there is a former player that has the same accusations ---i'd certainly like to hear it---also--it is an affront to the rooneys to suggest anabolic steroids powered this dynasty--- More..
