    PAPERZ!!
    ZERE VILL BE ORDER!!!!!

What are they teaching these guys in cop school? Authority combined with ignorance is a dangerous thing.

Good recovery by the senior officer, sounds like at least he knew what the "rules of engagement" are when dealing with a law abiding citizen.

  • Just some junior cop who doesn't know what the fuck he's doing. If you want a better police force you gotta either have better training, or more likely just weed out the recruits who are fucking idiots like this guy, so they don't become cops in the first place. It all costs money though, and the taxpayer doesn't want to spend it. And anybody who does want to spend the money gets accused of being a "socialist" (particularly in Texas, I'm sure).

  • See, this is such a great example of poorly trained cops with bad attitudes. U.S. citizens are not required to carry identification. Just because a cop asks for it, does not mean you must produce it unless you're operating a motor vehicle in public (Drivers License) or police have probable cause - in this case (I love this) "Suspicious person. How's that?". Please note that it's good to have a video camera and/or plenty of witnesses during these encounters, otherwise it could go south More..

  • There should go out to police a clear message to stop fucking harassing people for filming, taking pictures, existing ect. The cop should get a written reprimand for this and a suspension the next time.

  • Im usually the only one defending police officers in certain situations but this guy is on his own...i think they ask you for your id as like a way of showing you whos boss, they couldnt care less who you are its just programmed into them to ask for id whenever they approach someone as a security precaution so they know who they are in a conversation with isnt some police attacking brutal prior convict...so i can see both sides of the situation but this particular incident is funny because the o More..

  • you dont really want to fuck with them the day the Capitol building got shot up. Im not agreeing with this, but they were pretty high strung. once in the middle of the night i stopped on the south entrance steps on my mountain bike to eat a power bar and drink some water. i threw away my trash in the can next to the entrance and walked back to my bike at the bottom of the steps and a troopers came out the door and looked in the can with his light to see what i put in there. on the plus side with More..

    • @Momus if the area i was guarding was attacked and i was getting reconed by some guy with no ID i would be on top of him to. i would think if there were conspirators they would want to document the response for further actions. im not saying they were in the right, legally speaking, but i would expect the behavior. perhaps he was trolling them. good for him.

  • I like how the cop gave the camera the "what are YOU looking at" stare xD

Guy should have just asked if he was being detained. If the cop said yes just take him to court and sue him for whatever he's worth.
    Unlawful detention.

  • I wonder if the cop who 'axed' for the guy's ID is related to the ghetto thug who recorded his territorial gum flapping.
