  • Dude this is awesome. I inherited my grandfathers M1 Garand a few months ago after he passed away. I've been looking to find something online just like this before I take it to the range just to know how to maintain it going forward. I'm too laze to read it... I'd rather watch. Great vid.

  • I have an original 1943 Springfield specimen. Fired it once to feel how it shoots and now it is behind a glass in a display case.

    Awesome weapon. No wonder the U.S. won WWII with such a wonderful weapon in the hands of well trained soldiers.

    these babies were still being used in Vietnam even. my father still has his that he stripped down and took home.

  • Great weapon.

    As with all semi/auto weapons, my experience is that fire discipline is very important.

    Otherwise, you can throw rocks.
