The Koolaid comment comes from the Steadfast, Foolhardy, Stupid, Blind following of a Leader. There was a Leader in the past, he was a "righteous" man, he was a "man of God", a messenger to his people, a "savior from the Lord", and he led his people to a place in Guyana. While he was being such a man of God, and so very holy, when it looked like he was going to get in trouble, he laced Koolaid with Cyanide and his followers drank it and died. They gave it to their Children, they died hugging each other because their Leader was going to take them to Heaven, and show them the Holy Way. When in fact all he was doing was running away from responsibility. He didn't drink the Koolaid, he shot himself in the Head like a Good Holy Man does when he's caught doing something he shouldn't. His name was Jim Jones, you can look him up. And the Koolaid reference is a direct reference to the blind faith that some of the republicans put in Bush, because he's a "man of God", he's "holy", he "speaks to God" and has all this Holy Stuff about him.

Israel bombed the Nuclear Plant in Iraq! Hell, Israel will bomb anyone that looks sideways at them and call it "defense".
Of course, Israel will has been bitching for quite some time because no one wants to pay for a war with Iran. The Brits don't want to, the U.S. doesn't want to, the Russians don't want to, China doesn't want to. Of course we can't ask Israel to pay for a war, unless of course we give it to them at wholesale. No self-respecting Israelite pays retail, it's just not the way it's done.
John Warner, a republican wants to change the War Authorization. Because it doesn't match the needs of what is going on in Iraq right now AND what MIGHT BE NEEDED in the FUTURE!
What's needed in the FUTURE?!
Well, it's simple.
WAR WITH IRAN!
If the U.S. Doesn't start it, Israel sure as hell will. And of course, poor little Israel, being the little innocent country that it is, will need the help of everyone in the world because that evil Iran looked at them sideways. That's how the U.S. will be in a war with Iran, it will be our little penny pinching Israel throwing the first punch and then screaming how they are the victims!
Cheney of course wants a WAR. There's PROFIT in WAR, and LOTS of it, Halliburton is READY to go BACK to IRAN! They aren't making enough money. Besides, Cheney knows that Iran has Nuclear stuff, a part of Halliburton SOLD IT TO IRAN! So he knows there is something there. Hell, Halliburton didn't pull out of IRAN until 2005!
Bush of course it busy agreeing with Cheney, because he's the decider that gets led around by the nose by all these grown ups.
Of course, it's been hard to sell China and Russia on a war with Iran. Why? Because the price of oil has shot through the ROOF! There's nothing left in the United States that Bush has to offer that China or Russia really want. So they ignore Bush, and his Neocon nutcase friends because they only thing left in Bush's little toy box are a few nukclear weapons. China doesn't need money, hell, they are giving the U.S. money, to fund the Iraq Fix-it as it is now.
But Bush and Cheney don't trust anyone else to fix Iran. They know they can fix Iran just fine. The way that they fixed, Afghanistan, Rebuilt the Twin Towers, Rebuilt New Orleans, Rebuilt and totally succeeded in Iraq, now they want to fix Iran. I don't know about anyone else, but if Bush and Cheney showed up on my doorstep dressed as plumbers, I'd go buy a damn boat, because someone is going to drown for sure!
