Obama’s Quiver Is Empty

Ex-president George W. Bush with accustomed candor once shrugged after the end of his eight-year presidency, “People were kind of tired of me.” That ennui happens eventually with most presidents. But in the case of Barack Obama, our modern Phaethon, his fiery crash is coming after 32, not 96, months. We can sense the national weariness with Obama in a variety of strange and unexpected ways. There is the self-pitying anguish of liberal columnists who scapegoat him for turning the public against their own leftwing agenda. The current silence of “moderate” Republicans and conservative op-ed writers who once in near ecstasy jumped ship to join Obama is deafening. A growing number of Democratic representatives and senators up for reelection do not want their partisan president to visit their districts in the runup to November 2012. Approval ratings hover around 40 percent.

  • A disappointing, inefficient leader elected in a wave of blind anti-incumbent sentiment. If you guys want a good laugh, watch Obama when his prompter is not working - he's literally like a fish out of water.

  • His campaign workers jokingly referred to Obama as the "Black Jesus"...they must be soundly disappointed to learn he can't walk on water.

  • Very good post. So after Barry, you get Perry? It's a never ending cyclic problem that won't be resolved until you do something radical and take a leap of faith. Drastic times call for drastic measures and I think Ron Paul would be your best chance. Wish we had someone like him here.

    • @mackbolin I'm flattered, but the government is perhaps the last entity on earth that I would call my employer. No, I'm not an Obama fan. I actually gave him a chance when he got elected, and then he opened his mouth as president, not as a candidate. He's going to close Gitmo the first week in office and he literally has no plan with what to do with hundreds of hardened enemy combatants. Dude was lost and it's only gotten deeper and more comedic. Read the article. It's not an opinion piec More..

    • @yorba I tried to give him a chance also but from jump street his prospects weren't lookin too good in my opinion. I mean if the liberal media liked him I was pretty sure I wouldn't. And I think I hit the wrong thumb. Sorry Bro.

  • It will be even faster with the next Republican President who will actually take the helm as the nation enters its final collapse. Bush took 8 years to begin the collapse because he took over at the peak of the nation's power. It took that long to fuck it up.

Obama's ratings have soured because the nation was on fire by the time he took over.

When the next Republican President takes over, it will be in full meltdown.

I wouldnt be surprised if Republicans continued to fuck around with unelec More..
