Feeling Nostalgic.
In 1977 I owned my first Big Wheels.I remember setting makeshift jumps and remember that the takeoff was sweet, the flight was exhilarating, the landing although made ya walk funny for a day or two.Not much in regards to shocks, except on the off chance your leg got under it before you landed.

@the wedge Trying to remember if mine had one.... I don't think so. I just had the "brake" lever.

I loved my Big Wheel more than any car I've had.
Also had a Green Machine... which was super fast!
I must have gotten that thing up to 10 or 12 MPH!

How about the crazy wheels from the late 60's and early 70's. Oh how I miss those days.

@doesitreallymatter In the early 70's I had a plastic pedal tractor. Was pretty well detailed as well for a plastic pedal toy, compared to the crap they have today...... electric motor'd stuff excluded of course.

Love the spinouts. Wind in your hair, no sweaty safety gear, just a pair of levis and converse were your only protection.

Leave em' out in the rain and those seats would fill with all kinds of bizarre shit. The hand brake version was kick ass.
