The moment police officer pulled 'drunk driver' through car window by his feet

Police have launched an investigation into a senior officer after a motorist claimed he was dragged from his vehicle and 'beaten' in a city centre car park.

Father-of-four Nick Parsons claims the chief inspector repeatedly punched him as he tried to drag him from his vehicle in Leicester.

The officer appears to reach in through the open driver's window. Mr Parsons said he then 'rained a series of blows' on him sitting inside.

Mr Parsons, 52, climbed out of the window feet-first and grappled with the white-shirted officer before fleeing.

He was arrested minutes later as five other police arrived on the scene - two of them armed with tasers.

Mr Parsons was charged with assault and a drink-drive offence but was eventually cleared of all charges last week - almost two years after the incident.

He is now calling for an apology and compensation from Leicestershire police who have told him they are still internally investigating it.

He said yesterday: 'The way I've been treated is disgraceful. The way this officer reacted was totally over the top and I want an apology and compensation.

  • Too bad I wasn't on that jury. You can clearly see the guy start to pound on the cop when he tells him to get out of the car.

Probably more than most people I cut cops A LOT OF FUCKING SLACK.

    Why?

Because they deal with fucking shitheads all day long. Drunken obnoxious fucks with no respect.

I'm not gonna go so far as to say there aren't some real asshole scumbag cops out there but sometimes - like in this case - that guy in the car?

He needed a good ass beating.

    Plain and si More..

  • He climbed out on his own.
Here's your apology, "We're sorry you're a drunken fool, now shut up and quit whining like a pussy."

      + 1
I agree it's all clear, I guess the subject starter is exploiting some social engineering skills to fuel the discussion by that vidio description.
The guy got busted on site, tried to flee (you can see he tried to open the door and the white-shirt guy closed it). So the police officer tried to keep perp from getting away. And moreover got punched several times as it clearly shown on this vid

  • Dragged by his feet? I see him come through the window by his feet, but it looked like he did that all by himself and then proceeded to attack the officer.

Although the copper was punching the fuck out him it seems it was because he did NOT want him out of the car!!

    • @Bluntpaper

It's pretty much a worthless clip without the audio. Who knows what went down.

He was swinging, but he never really cocked his arm to delivery hard. It was more like smacking him.

    • @DartfordPubCrawler Your eyes will help you here.

The case is more about defending the officers actions, and exposing the scum for what he is. A liar.

  • If you look you can see the guy trying to get out and the officer is trying to get him to stay inside by forcing the door closed. then he tries kicking the dude and that is why he comes out feet first. sorry if im stating the obvious.

  • Good job to the officer, saved a life or even many by not letting him take off behind the wheel. He should be applaud not investigated.

  • How did hes feet get up there if he didnt resist? Kicking for example.

Allso he clearly try to punch him. What is there to investigate?

    • @Mondon
Since the cop didn't touch the guy's feet even once, I guess the investigation will be on whether or not the officer has the power of telekinesis and can move objects with his mind alone.

  • Should give the Copper a medal for keeping that scum off the road.

  • If he was drunk behind the wheel then i take my hat off to the officer for beating his ass...better that than him running over a family on the pavement

  • No doubt he deserved a shoeing. Probably just another whining little prick seeking compensation.

  • I read the full story; found not guilty on a technicality. Says it all really.

    • @Reinhard technicallities in trials in both the UK & Ireland are as common as pimples on a teenager's face. Trials and jail cost money + many people are "connected" so the wink & nod action eradicates the conviction.
