Syria - FSA Fighters take out Assad's T72 tanks with the KORNET Missile (18/10/12)

One of the most sophisticated anti armor portable weapons out there just took out one of the tanks. If this continues, we should see lots more heavy armor destruction. These weapons knocked out American and Israeli top of the line tanks in the battlefield over the last few years.

@czechmate67 Maybe, maybe not the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states purchase Russian gear on occasion (Saudi Arabia actually was making some major purchases recently). Besides, there's also the "grey market" option of smuggling in weapons of Russian-made origin (like in Afghanistan) to disguise where they really came from.

@Szminsky The SAA is the biggest supplier of weapons to the rebels. They either take stuff from conquered/abandoned outpost or buy them from greedy soldiers.
