  • So basically, both sides use BS to try and con us to their way of thinking?

What I don't get is why we let politicians make policy around climate change? If they feel the average person sees climate change as a problem, then they are all for taxing us....even if the science for doing so isn't settled.

BTW, anyone who tells you the science of climate change is settled and they know what the truth is, they are a liar!

    • Both political sides sides use BS, but this is nothing new in the political realm.

We take climate change serious because an overwhelming majority of climate scientists agree that
      1. Human activity is changing the climate,
and 2. that unchecked could cause some drastic changes.

No science is ever "settled," there are facts we can derive from science, but any scientist who tells you that a theory is infallible is not a scientist. Science is always open to new ideas, and dissenting pa More..

    • Lazerhead, You're pathetic

Much in Science IS settled. What is unsettling though is a bunch of Alarmists like yourself wanting to tax the bejeezus out of the free world because of theory only.

Climate Change and what to do about it, if indeed it actually is a problem ,is totally unsettled. The ONLY people saying its settled are the morons advocating this hyper alarm on Global Warming...opps Climate Change.

The FACTS are all over the table and all are disputed from how and where temperatures More..

    • The closest thing to "settled" science is when there is a majority of scientists and peer-reviewed articles that support a theory. Dissenting views are always welcome, again only if they make it through peer-review. This applies across the board, papers in support of climate change must pass this test as well.

What to do about climate change? Sure there can be some real debate there. If you notice, I have never brought up what we should do about it. I uploaded these videos to inform a More..

  • Why can't everybody just try to be a little more efficient in their day to day life? I fail to see what taxes are going to fix.

    • Because its not about reversing whatever "climate change" is going on, its about taxing everything you do and the population giving up the last remnants of control of their activities to a bureaucracy of drones who need your money for their parasitic existence

  • well i have noticed a big climate change here in south arkansas, when i was a child, going to school, we bought Fall school clothes because we started school around the first week of september, usually the fair was the third week of september, since i had my child (she is now 30), she started school around the last week of july and school clothes were light, cool, summery clothes. the weather has certainly changed, now when the fair is here around the 3rd week in september, we wear summer clothe More..

    • That may be so, I'm not going to call you a liar.
However, were I live, I'm sure the summers have been cooler since the late 80s. Also the whole country (New Zealand) officially had it's coldest May and June for 50 years. This is why the term "Global warming" has been replaced by "climate change".....but climate has always changed, so what's new?
