The only criminals in this conflict are the FSA thugs who occupy cites and towns. They put those areas in danger and the Syrian army has every right to hunt them down and expel/destroy them. That doctor might be dead by now along with others in that terrible "hospital" which even needs to be re-located all the time just to avoid certain death.
I know this war is brutal and complicated and there are a lot of murderous criminals on all sides and countless more victims, and the rest of the world is stagnant and don't want to be directly involved. So the spiral continues and Syria disintegrates from within...
