@edgecrusher187 $100 a uniform...4 or 5 uniforms a soldier...that's a little over a quarter the $5 billion. I'm not sure either. Those aren't exact figures mind you. I guess all the gear in that camo pattern was calculated in as well.

@edgecrusher187 These are Marines see the MARPAT? The article is referring to the Army and that stupidass ACU and it's pretty well and UNDERestimation imho, considering all of the other sundry gear and everything that also must be changed to a new pattern like the MC they are wearing now that is far superior. The Marine woodland MARPAT is probably the best camo pattern period. Might even be some desert MARPAT in that video as well but I couldn't be sure.

here in canada we use CANPAT, then america liked it and now they have MARPAT and army etc, although i never understand why they didnt adopt are UV blocking fabric, our camo blocks heat sig from Ir and NVG, only the head will show up up close.
as for the video, the first think i thought when i saw this was a scene from Jurassic park...."stay out of the lime grass, then raptres kill you'
