Iran's foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki says Washington's 'inhumane' actions have caused deep hatred in the Mideast towards the US.
“The US is trapped in Iraq. Its inhumane activities in the war-wracked country as well as in Afghanistan have caused intense hatred in the Middle East public opinion towards the US,” Said Mottaki, in a Tuesday meeting with Bolivia's special envoy to Tehran, Carlos Garcia.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Mottaki said that the Iranian president's recent visit to Bolivia has opened a new chapter in Tehran-La Paz relations.
Mottaki added that the joint ventures in Bolivia's oil, gas industries as well as the construction projects of dams, bridges and power plants could closely link the two countries.
The Bolivian official, for his part, praised Iran as a country that has taken great steps toward development, peace and a better future for the international community.
He also expressed the need to find ways to hasten the implementation of the previously signed agreements with the Iranian officials.
