He had me on board until he went off onto the "That's not how God wants it."
He is correct about therapists though, they are simpering half wits.

100% truth.
My younger kids, all I have to do is raise my voice a little (which is very rare) and I get instant compliance, because they know they won't like the alternative. I'm all fun and games most of the time, but there comes a point sometimes where I am the boss and that's it. My 18 year old daughter still thinks I'm a prick sometimes because I was tough on her on occasion, but she really doesn't. I can tell. She knows I'd give her the shirt off my back in an instant.
Holy fuck my dad wa More..

You know the best thing you can spend when it comes to your kids is time. Taking time to get to know your kids when they are little gives you a window into who they are going to be...recognizing all of their personality when they are at their most basic is quite a art....taking time to recognize that sometimes things that seem negative to a parent like say stubborn behaviors and annoying persistence with the right kind of guidance and discipline can in fact serve them well. were More..

"That's how God sees it". Shut up dickhead. Tell God to go to Africa first instead of watching over some spoilt brats who can't have the latest video game.

He was doing so well until he mentioned Liberalism as the cause of these problems and God as the solution to them.

Does Bill have tell you about his past as a sheriff in every clip. His perspective that discipline and parenting will fix ADD Autism bipolar or Aspergers is about as loony as the scientologists idea that vitamins will cure dyslexia and homesexuality.

@whogoesthere I have ADHD and my behavior was similar as the kid's from the video. The set of circumstances brought me to my uncle, who raised me from age 18-23. He was a major in the army and didn't take much shit from me. When he raised his voice it was an instant cure for my ADHD. And today I respect him much more than I respect my parents.

Assumptions, opinion and scripture are a poor excuse for anything.
Does a police officer require special training to go around and witness kids being spanked? Special Ops Spanking Division in charge of butt justice!

'Thats not what god thinks.' How does he know did God tell him? If so he's hearing voices and he needs to see a therapist...

Thanks for the sermon, Billy! You're completely off your rocker, and nothing you say is corroborated by science, and you apparently know absolutely nothing about rearing a child--but I defend your right to say it.
(FWIW, the mother of the Sandy Hook murderer says that she was a "strict disciplinarian". Sparing the rod wasn't the reason those kids were killed; having easy access to assault weapons was.)

@Pettit10000 My thoughts exactly. His sentiment is right, but no one should follow his advice if it is guided by some sort of providence.

Ill definitley agree that you shouldnt be a friend to your children. But this loon has no right to comment on how people raise children. I bet he has his children call him sir

@Rumbiddieboo In fairness, my children are required to say "yes Sir" and "No Sir" they say I'm the "funnest dad ever" In my home, our method has been simple. I'm your pal until you fuck up. Because it works for me doesn't mean it will or won't for you. The problem isn't friendship in my opinion, the problem is single/absent parents.

@Sicko The "service" was a small-town cop's idea to help parents feel like they could discipline their children without CPS coming down on them for abuse. That's happened before. That's how ridiculous things have gotten.
