I guess 6 billion has been spent this year alone for all federal elections, pretty crazy. I thought I had read on CNN that the 2008 presidential election had more money than 2012 but this one isn't even over with so I'll try and find that article.

Here it is
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/10/31/election-price-tag-could-reach-6-billion/?iref=allsearch
And here is what I mentioned before:
"Based on filings with the Federal Election Commission, the report estimates $2.6 billion will be spent on the presidential race alone, down from $2.8 billion in 2008. More than $528 million of that is likely to come from outside spending."

Video was pretty good but why was there an anti citizens united text at the end? The citizens united site looks to be about restoring the Constitution and its values.

I did like the video...however, Union's have overwhelming contributed to liberal democrats for generations and have in return received generous accomodations.Just look at New Jersey denying help from NON union helper's after Sandy. All's it takes is one POTUS not doing those favor's for big corporations and they will see they had wasted their money. Free market at work baby...beside's it is Congress that need's to be held accountable.
We the people still elect our politicians and no amount of m More..

@boomersooner Wrong. When corporations contribute to BOTH candidates and help select which drones will bubble to the top of only two choices, your vote has no meaning at all.

@LickMyDuck I don't think so, well maybe but this one is particularly worse because of the fact that there's no limit on how much can be donated.
