We need sensible gun-control!
Strict and stringent gun control laws are needed to curb the ever increasing violence of American society. The second amendment is over-rated and misinterpreted.

Pennsylvania is the hunting capital of the east coast. Harrisburg is its capital, but probably more beholden to the lawful gun owners than a mayor who might want to be too restrictive.
Besides, like in many cities, the bad guys will always have guns, so why try to penalize the legal gun owners for their behavior?

More liberal crap ideas. 14% of the US population is black He should ask why black youths under 25 commit 52 percent of all murders by guns in the US and 67% have no father present or even a father figure available. Black on black crime is rampant. The gun is not the problem. There are many community leaders that know they have to start at fixing the base family unit and instill basic moral values. Gun laws are usless and have done little to change society values. Less than 2% of legal guns are used in crime in NY. Any law abiding citizen 21 or over can get a concealed gun permit in upstate NY. Criminals are never affected by gun laws. Why are legal gun owners only 2% of the crime and black youths are 52%? The gun is not the cause that's for sure.
