OMG It's a COMEDY SHOW making jokes about the announcement of a year-long hiatus by the Canadian military, which begs to be made fun of! (Like your reaction!) How seriously you are taking a bunch of jokes is a sad joke in itself and says a lot more about you than this really great show or the people on it. If you don't watch it because of this you're missing out on a lot of really funny stuff. Ha Ha Ha!! Funny stuff all the way around to me!

I know Canadian citizens joined the US Army (as Americans joined Canada's Army prior to the entry of the US into WWII. Could you cite a source for the bit about the Canadian militray wearing US uniforms? That would be interesting to read more about.
i will try to find some sources, btw some canadian special ops elites are also in iraq right now wearing US uniform....like that the canadian gouv. can say "we are not in iraq"(...as canadian forces)
