Weetabix - OK?

A breakfast cereal ad from the 80s, not sure it's still available in the UK.

I think one of them is Jason Statham.

  • Weetabix is a staple of english life and it'd be impossible to imagine civilisation without it. Thankfully they retired this advert

  • I doubt if it were Jason Statham voicing this ad-he would have been about 10 years old back then!

Weetabix is still sold here although not with such cringe worthy adverts.

  • LOL. Is this the stuff that came in little brick's & looked like little hay bales? But without as much flavor as a hay bale? :-)

    • @Ruffus The hay bail stuff is "Shredded Wheat" - tastes like cardboard

    • @Wankershire UK
Yup, it had absolutely no flavor. Like chewing on damp cardboard.
Never understood those types of foods.
Like Grit's. First & only time I tried it I'm thinking zero flavor. People told me you have to put on ketchup & hot sauce & this & that. LOL, Whats the point of eating it then?

The Shredded Wheat, were they about 2 inch by 4 inch block's? Two of them would fill a typical sized bowl?
