I believe the phalanx type ship defense system, consisting of multiple Gatling-guns firing depleted uranium, aimed by computer at the incoming trajectory, is specifically meant to counter this kind of attack. Who are they planning on using this kind of weapon on? Perhaps they are hoping to overheat and or exhaust the phalanx' ammunition, by shooting many missiles, typical communist strategy, best of luck with that.
