Yea, because the United States was founded on the belief of Atheism in 1776. The first "Americans" were Protestants trying to escape England's King and his iron fist.
The founding fathers were so good that they made it so you cannot be persecuted because of your religion in this country, no matter what it is.
You apparently, don't care if all religion is wiped out in America, including Christianity which the values were loosely based on.
