Why I am Pro Life
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

My partner works in post-natal care. The number of mothers on drugs, welfare or underage is INCREASING. We are breeding a generation of social problems - if abortion was easier for them to get, we would see MORE loving, competent parents instead.

This is the reason why Planned Parenthood aborted so many blacks and hispanics. I guess the libs method to control the races begins before birth.

There may seem like a lot of teen pregnancies, but the numbers are still dropping, and have been since the 1950s.
We need better sex education and drug education for kids. Most parents are ignorant of the subjects of sex and drugs. "Just say no" doesn't work for either one, because both make you feel awesome (I assume--I've never tried drugs).
Our current generation is fucked, but we're slowly getting our heads out of our asses.

@Nepean109 Abortion is not about having more loving parents. It's about killing more children.

I've alaways been "on the fence" on this subject. I have no problem with abortion in the case of rape,or danger to the life of the mother and/or baby. I do have a problem however with it being used simply as a form of birth control in the event of an unwanted pregnancy.

@RugOutFromUnderYou Nine men in black robes decided that slavery should be legal. Nine men in black robes decided abortion should be legal. Abortion laws should go back to the states and be decided by the people. The Supreme Court overstepped its' bounds.

Cancer is a form of life too,
Would you have a doctor cut that out of you?
If you don't believe in abortions 'by choice',
do you mind paying out the welfare for family's who would have chosen to abort children because they cannot afford it?
Do you like ice cream?

The Middle-East has not seen a period of enlightenment since before the spread of Islam, and has not self-industrialised. You can't hold them to Western standards. Christianity shamelessly dragged its heels through the period of enlightenment and Christians still attempt to claim moral superiority in these arguments.

@XyBerFuNK Perhaps you are correct based on religious beliefs. Religious beliefs have no business being mixed with politics or government. Abortion is a women's right/health issue and has no business being legislated. Furthermore, framing the anti-abortion message as a women's health issue is intellectually dishonest at best. Meh. Thumb me down till the cows come home. I have daughters and I want their rights protected.

What is the point of a child being born when the mother is a teenager/drug addict or whatever that can hardly take care of herself. The child's future looks very bleak most likely. Add to that the overpopulation of his planet.
You must be really retarded if you are against abortion!
