Germany has no motive for keeping this guy around in their system for very long. Canada has no death penalty that might interfere with extradition treaties. (I have no idea if Germany would oppose extradition on those grounds or not.) There's a chance Luka might get an insanity case but since he planned so much of his actions so deliberately and meticulously I say odds are he will face charges of murder.
