Smart Gloves..translating sign language into spoken words
Demo starts at 0:55..A Ukrainian student team has developed a system that uses smart gloves to translate sign language into speech. Their idea, called Enable Talk, earned them a spot in the finals at Microsoft's Imagine Cup in Sydney.

Brilliant.
Kudos to these guys for spending time and effort on such a noble cause, now they need a reverse application that helps the deaf guy understand the response.

Life imitates art..... they portrayed a similar technology in the movie, "Congo", by putting such a glove on a gorilla that knew sign language.
Pretty amazing breakthrough. I imagine soon we'll have blind people seeing through neural connections with Go-Cams.
