To add context to this: The president appointed his brother or half brother the head of the air force. Everyone is a bit angry. People aren't exactly pleased with corruption of the Saleh regime. They are also in part, expected to quell a political revolution and islamic uprising...for someone who they really don't like.
30% unemployment in Yemen and these scum bags are asking for more money. Poverty & still the worst water supply in the world... and they want more money.
