  • Hero, to fans of genocide and human rights abuses, I guess. He was a real ground-breaker, being one of the first to throw acid in the faces of unveiled women at Kabul University in the 70s, and is world famous for his indiscriminate shelling of Kabul during the Afghan civil war in the 90s.

    Nothing more or less than a worthless terrorist warlord. Actually, being at the center of the Taliban's drug trade, he's probably worth quite a bit.

  • Oh yeah they are real heros. Everybody likes a hero that bring opression, hate, killing and violence. The Afghan population was entire runned by the Taliban and anybody that got out of line or questioned them got tortured than hanged. Cops were hanged on light posts. After NATO send troops to Afghanistan. They started targeting civilian populations, hiding as civilians amung civilians also ambushing and running away.   • Hekmatyar shelled Kabul killing a ton of innocent civilians, he threw acid into the face of women, killed many other innocent. He was a murderer. Massoud is the true hero of Afghanistan.
