Met David Royce at the Winter Park Art Festival. He was sitting in his booth with amazing pieces of glass work displayed all around him. The aesthetics and uniqueness of his work - color, shape and decorative carving - grabbed my attention immediately. But his humble passion and manners won my appreciation and respect. Royce left me wondering what will happen as homegrown artisans start to disappear.
