How I spent my weekend

Just some clips I strung together from a few weekends ago. This is actualy my first video, Live Leak or otherwise. Its not exactly redefining but I figure thers enough death and drama on here as it is. So, if I can add anything its just going to be some good clean fun, well there is a little mud, and a few burnouts, oh and some guns............ and we did destroy a building.

Come to think of it, this may fit in well here. As I said, first video and im just using what I have, that being my cell phone, windows movie maker and the few songs I have on my pc. I hope you like Led Zeppelin and CCR!!! because thats all I got. Oh also, this takes place in the middle of no ware Wisconsin. knough said.

  • Great video and I personally think this would have done well in the YS section with a title like, "Eat Your Hearts Out, City Folks", er something like that. :) Enjoyed it very much and I can envision some big white tails running around there, too. Cheers and have a vote from Sloop.

  • Best building ever. At the start of the video I was thinking, pffft ya fart near that and it will fall down. Then I noticed that the building is a fucking boss and just doesnt want to be destroyed. Now after watching it all, I kinda miss the building. Its the unsung hero of the whole video.
    CCR fucking rule man, excellent choice.

  • Thanks all and Merry Christmas! We stabilized the building a few years ago but as you can see the foundation was pretty much gone. Typically in this area a building such as this would be dismantled and the materials reused or sold. Just from the looks of thing we didn’t feel it would be safe to take it apart as it was so we basically broke it into chunks to be set aside until spring and we burned anything unusable. Its possible that it was originally built by the Amish there are a lot of them More..

    • @timmyfu We've got some Mennonites, Pennsylvania Dutch and also some Amish around and I always try to do business with them when ever we're building a log home or something in their sawmills and hardware stores. Good people and dam good craftsman. Nice video too.

    • @flatland ...thanks man and agreed, they are pretty good people. Pleasant to work with and interesting, I’d like to do a video on them but I don’t think there to fond of cameras.

    • @timmyfu My question is, Why did you tear it down instead of allowing some skilled wood crafters in to dismantle and re-use the lumber? I know liability could be an issue, contracts, not wanting others on your property etc, but could have the lumber been re-used for shed type buildings?

      Seems like there was a lot of lumber there that could have been re used for something else.

    • @timmyfu The Mennonites are a little more open to things like cameras and stuff. They even drive cars (but only black ones) and they opporate a saw mill (with electric powered saws and machinery) close by where I built a log home. So we would go out of our way to buy from them, because the quality was great, they would custom mill any kind of board we needed for about half the price. If you ever get the chance I highly recommend going to one of their farms and seeing the work that they do. The o More..

  • I enjoyed that. At first, I thought for sure I wasn't gonna watch all of it - maybe skip around a bit. But I felt drawn to it and watched all of it. I'm also a huge Zeppelin fan and found your selections surprising (in a good way).
