      HOWEVER!

      The translators of the 1611 King James Version of the bible wrote 3 letters that apologized for their insufficient understanding not just of words in scripture, but entire concepts.

      Read the book yourself.

      Grab Bullinger's Companion Bible or look it up online? Same with a Strong's concordance.

      These will allow you to actually look up the meanings of the words and to understand who is being written to.

    • @plecostomus Yes but too many people have been fooled. I have repeated prophecy around here often enough. Feel free to look it up. But simply put the bible while mistranslated still gets its primary messages through. And a Muslim teaching me would find me a receptive listener and then a strong debate would ensue. I enjoy discussing what the various books of Abraham's descendants actually say verses what so many claim they say.

  • Still just a theory until we have real-time monitoring of an evolving organism.That hasn't been done yet.I think duscussing the laws of entropy will steer us in the correct direction to explore.

    • @Roll1981 Even if evolution was a load of nonsense it would make no difference to the reality I see around me. Personally, I had never even heard of evolution back when I realised that organised religion is a load of balls. If you are religious, you are likely nearly 100% atheist already since you don't believe in Zeus, Thor and the 20,000 other gods humans have invented over the course of history. I simply went one god further.

      In another comment I mentioned demonic activity regarding the 'gods' of false religions. Allah is a 7th century tribal moon god. An idol in Mecca behind which resides the devil himself, for instance.
