Its good to see humans helping animals. There are always good and bad people, in this case it was a Polish man. I'm Polish too and I would do exactly the same. Last summer I have found young hedgehog, took it home, washed it in warm water to get rid of all the insects on its skin. He was very hungry so I you find one yourself remember to feed it with meat or vegetables as they eat nearly everything.
