Cap And Trade

Cap and Trade will have little impact. What do the green experts think? EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson acknowledged in US Senate testimony: Cap and trade would reduce global temperatures by a fraction of a degree by 2050. U.S. action alone will not impact CO2 levels.

Cap and Trade will also create a hole in our energy supply. Proposed legislation relies heavily on nuclear power and alternatives to coal. This is problematic because:
* It takes 10-11 years to get a nuclear plant up and running.
*The bill assumes that carbon capture comes on-line by 2015. Conservatively some say it'll take a decade; others say it'll never happen.
