A senior Iranian military commander says Iran is capable of firing countless missiles from different locations at one or several targets of the enemy simultaneously.

“We can simultaneously fire numerous and countless missiles from different spots at one or several targets, which indicates our capability to perform convergent and parallel operations,” Deputy Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami said on Wednesday.

He said that Iran has reached self-sufficiency in the missile industry and added we can target every base of the enemy in the region from any spot with the desired precision and degree of power.

Salami said that the Islamic Republic is expanding its radius of deterrence to thousands of kilometers beyond the country’s borders to be able to reach the enemy’s vital interests.

He said that Tehran was not afraid of threats as it was well-equipped with defense military equipment.

Israel has recently stepped up threats of carrying out a strike against Iran’s nuclear energy facilities.

The threats are based on the unfounded claims that the nuclear energy activities of the Islamic Republic include a military component.

Iranian officials have rejected the allegations, and have promised a crushing response to any military strike against the country, warning that any such measure could result in a war that would spread beyond the Middle East.
