I wouldn't have to tell you, "ones I've heard". I can tell you from personal experience. How many you lived with?
I have more *positive* stories of pits I've lived with, or family/friends who've had them, than I do negative stories. Actually, for the pits I've known, I have ZERO NEGATIVE.
That said, I don't trust "unknown pits" just like I don't trust "unknown people".
But again, I've personally seen acts by these dogs that BLEW MY MIND. I'll send More..

Not sure about cats. But in many recent studies dogs have been as accurate at detecting cancer as the normal biopsy/screening tests. Just by sniffing a patients breath.
