Detailed video showing motorcycle thieves caught on CCTV

Clerkenwell, London, UK

Owners gets his brand new 3 week old motorbike robbed at his work place. All caught on multiple CCTV cams. 3 losers are in on the robbery, and get away after minutes of work on the anti-theft systems of the brand new Triump sportsbike.

"4th April 2012, my Triumph Daytona 675R was stolen outside of my office in the car park.
It's
now been nearly 3 months and with fully recognisable faces on the CCTV
footage, the police have yet to do anything about it.

My bike
was literally days old and had cost me over £12,000. I've lost a lot of
money on this and I have decided to take it upon myself to advertise
just how easy it is to take somebody's property in this country and face
no form of punitive justice.

I should be able to park my bike anywhere I want without the fear of assault or theft. But I can't.

I
am documenting this at http://www.motorbikethieves.com - please go there to
see further information. It may not yet be fully updated, so please give
it some time."

  • Sad to the biker, but this is well know that the Triumph 675R is a thieves' magnet...so you 'll be advised to protect it seriously, even in this case there is not guaranty it can't be stolen. Myself having a commuting bike CB 500, she's anchored to street furniture with a U and a chain, on BUSY street.
I never park her in quiet place or dead end.

  • 1)first of all what makes you think these are chavs?im from essex but i dont go around stealing motorbikes,2)if you didnt have such a shit steering lock on such a nice bike maybe it would be still where it was.3)your bike was in clerkenwell which is classed as london and london doesnt come under the chav section or area...these are most likely silvertown boys.hackney boys.and around the area of clerkenwell itself..maybe your bike is round the corner from your work because they usually steal it r More..

  • $12,000 for that?????? I'll give him $1000 tops. You don't even need to break the lock. Just pick it up and put it in your car or truck. No lock, chain or cable is going to save that little thing from thieves. Be glad it's gone. An embarrassment of a bike.

  • Those guys looked like pros...one guy spots, calls in the people who can provide overwatch and hotwire. Good luck ever getting that bike back. It's probably in pieces or halfway across Europe by now.

  • Mate sorry to say it but i never noticed them once having to deal with a disk lock or any other form of security besides the steering lock. You buy a bike all the safety gear and vise verser should be factored into the cost. How many bikes have you owned?
