  • The cop didn't blow it. The perp pulled a knife on 2 people, and hit another in the head with a can of bear...and bragged that he had a gun...then he tried to run when the cops arrived.
He filed a suit in 2007, but I don't believe it went far...he only had minor injuries.

Sorry, but I would back a cop risking his life at the request of 3 citizens who verified the perp was armed with a knife, already attacked one person, & who claimed to have a gun...over the perp.

    Police are not obligated More..

  • It was obviously an accident. Sometimes shit happens. The officer was probably distracted, by what I don't know.

As you can see, his car's airbags deployed when he hit the corner of that wall. The first thing the officer did was check on the bad guy. Once he saw the bad guy only had somewhat minor injuries, he requested to see the video tape. As you can clearly see toward the end of the video, the suspect is sitting up.

That video tape would have likely cleared the officer of accusation More..

  • I would comment on this; however, it would not make a difference whatsoever. All I can say is on behalf of the 46 men and women that have died in the line of duty since January 1, 2011. Yep...that means there have been 46 officers killed the line of duty in the last 78 days....think about it. I am glad you are still here Bro. I am also glad that you came to that scene...without hesitation....knowing this suspect probably had a knife and a gun per your dispatcher...and the guy on the phone on More..

  • If the cop was trying to cover up what he did, do you think you would have ever seen this video?

  • "get that outta here dude"

Hey cops of the USA,you are public servants and as such we the citizens(ya know, the people who pay your bills)have a right to film you anytime anywhere in public so fkn get over it and get used to it already.

    • Do you or anyone know what the rules of videotaping police are....that is one memo the that both civilians and police should have a copy of.

  • Yeah, the cop blew it and he knew it. No reason to run down the guy with your car. Shat happens...nothing to to see here.

  • Don't get mad at the camera, "dude". If you don't like what just went down, try doing something different next time.

"Can I see the whole thing on the video." 'Dude' was making a play to snach the camera as 'evidence'. Thankfully he cut is losses at one screw-up for the night.

No one expects you to be perfect, "dude". But don't cover up the fuck-ups.

  • I can't believe the cops reaction. He was more concerned about the video tape than anything.
    Crooked fuck.
Hope he's fired or in jail for that.
