I know nature is nature and all of that and that we shouldn't interfere , but what would it of fucked up if one of those people filming it would of put a round in that creatures head and put it out of it's misery? I mean it was obviously going to die and be eaten , so the end result would of been the same , just a whole lot quicker.

i think they're not really quite sure what to do with it, so, just eating it alive seems like the best option.
nasty. apparently grisly bears can do the same thing, to PEOPLE. they aren't afraid of the noise you make, as the apex predator they just sit on you and eat you alive usually THIGHS FIRST because that's where your best meat is. imagine that.
