I am sorry you had to experience that pain.
You are right there are a lot of keyboard ninjas who think it would be cool to do that.
They have idea what they are wishing for. I have seen people die too, and it is not clean and sanitary like on TV or the movies.
There is also something they will never replicate in Movies or TV. The smell of death is one you will always know.

@TrainedWreck my job involves me being called to deaths, or people who are badly injured, but the one that really sticks in my mind is when I had to go to a middle aged bloke who hung himself in the woods. His tongue was black and sticking right out his mouth, and his hands were black. Turns out my brother knew him through work and he was a really nice guy, just suffered with depression. I can still see his face clearly and yes, before you ask I did have a stiff drink or 2 later that day.
