Ride a long with the Maxican Police in Tijuana

Not a job I envy at all. Talk about a dangerous job these fellas have, and I can only imagine the peanuts they work for too. Unreal.

  • This danger would not exist if American cops wanted to catch the bastards WITH the drugs. Now, they want to catch them AFTER they have sold the drugs so they can "seize" the money - for their departments.

  • wonder how many people these cops extort or how many bribes they take when the camera is off

    • @maxwellthebest Mexican cops always have been "pay for play". It's a third world country with no checks and balances or oversight in what goes on in the field!

  • I would definitely have to consider another line of employment when, as a police officer, a balaclava is a standard part of your uniform. Pretty scary to even live in an area where the cops have to hide their identities else they be slaughtered by the people who are really in charge.

  • They barely drove a couple blocks from the station and they're already busting people. The busts we see here are a drop in the bucket.

  • I miss the Mexico of the 80s and 90s. I'm a red blooded American, but I still have family in Mexico that my mom would take my little sister and I to visit. I will say the atmosphere and vibe was quite energetic and things were so much more simpler. It's a shame. Their only hope is full blown civil war now.

  • Holy crap! I used to go to Mexico in the late 80's early 90's for kicks. It was fun! Tijuana, Rosarita, Encinada. It was cheap as hell, fun as fuck, and as long as you didn't do anything to attract the attention of the cops, you were cool. If the cops saw you being stupid and drunk, you would spend a couple of days in a sewer, lose all your money, even nice clothes and shoes if you had them, pay a chunky fine and go home. Now, I wouldn't step foot in any of these places.
