    • @Spartan01 My dear friend, except of this lady having diplomatic immunity (we could not do anything really), she is most probably a Christian (Egypt usually sends Christian diplomats to Greece/Cyprus, from the big Cristian minority in Egypt), and could possibly even be Greek or Greek descend (from our Greek community in Egypt).
      But (even if irrelevant to this incident) i agree that Europe bends over to Muslims - unfortunately, we Greeks do the same as the rest Europeans i am afraid...

    • @R_sole not defending the slapping but ambassadors have diplomatic immunity, carry top secret documents therefor they are immune,can not be searched or stopped in any airport. their status is same as head of state. the officer was clearly trying to stop her from passing through and may be had a nasty word or two in defiance as well. you don't want your diplomat to be treated the same way in another country no matter how powerful your country is therefor you have to stick to the rules otherwise t More..
