Heads in Sand: Israel's biggest anti-govt protests ignored by media.
In Israel, mainstream media are being accused of burying their heads in the sand over coverage of the biggest anti-government protests the country has seen in decades. Tens of thousands of people, fed up with deteriorating living standards, are staging demonstrations calling for Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stand down. But as Paula Slier reports from Tel Aviv, protesters' voices are simply going unheard by the rest of the world.

Excellent report!!
thats exactly what i wrote here few days ago- the social revolution which Israel is having right now is almost not being reported on the global media, since it dont have direct link to the middle east (even that it was influenced by the middle east revolt of the last months and also could have influence on Israel out side policy and the Palestinians on the long run).

?????
Its in Israel, not Egypt...
I was there (Tel Aviv) in the mass protest and Islam was defiantly not part of it...

well, they dont- they are really scared right now (loosing their sits) but its hard for them to do much: the Neo-Liberal economy system is already implemented in Israel very hard and it will be quite impossible to suddenly turn Israel back into a real social state.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww...the poor lefttists arent getting the attention from overseas that they so dearly desire!
Have a cry ya pack of leftist hippy bums!
To compare this protest as whats happening in ARab countries, is ridiculous. It is not a revolution liek these moronic leftists are claiming!
If it was, there would ne millions on the street....not a few thousand!
ISrael isnt being run by tyrants, and the high cost of living here has been caused by the leftists elite and their greed for money and p More..

Have you really watched this vid???
will you stop with this 'few thousands' shit already....????
look carefully from 3:30 in this video (the images from the mass march and protest) and tell me does it seems only couple of thousands to you....................?
if it does then you really should consider buying glasses...

Im not saying all of this will defiantly create a 'wonderful tomorrow' but at list the people are going out there and saying what bothers them instead of the usually home-work routine.

The problem isnt them saying what bothers them....i am all for that and admit the cost of living is too high!
What pisses me iff, is how the leftists have taken over these protests and blaming Bibi for all their problems, when in reality its the leftist courts and the leftists elite that have caused these economic problems!
Yair Lapid and his 240,000 nis a month wage...what, for being a journalist???....thats the problem!
