Dec 13 - A Dutch diplomat has caused an uproar by giving up a Korean girl he adopted seven years ago.

Raymond Poeteray says he did so on medical advice because she had severe problems fitting into the family. The case has sparked outrage in Hong Kong where the family now live and the Netherlands. The Dutch daily De Telegraaf newspaper wrote that the couple had thrown her away like household rubbish.
