Charles Darwin, who the hell was he anyway? Mark Steel lecture on the life of Charles Darwin.
In these times of all out war between religion and science, I thought I'd upload this funny and informative documentary to LL. It's on the life and works of Charles Darwin by British comedian, Mark Steel.
Enjoy!

If your literalistic, I suppose you could assume every part of the bible is speaking literally. However, no one I know personally thinks the bible was meant to be taken literally. If you understand the first thing about scripture you learn it was a series of stories and songs passed down through generations verbally. It was meant to impart an idea the same as our stories and songs are meant to impart an idea even today. To take everything literally a artist writes would be like saying Shakespear More..

Science = Lots and lots of evidence. facts, theories and education. Space travel and technology. Responsible for more advancement than any factor in history.
Religion= No evidence except for books written and collected over thousand of years by Paranoid schizophrenics who have conversations with invisible friends, hallucinations and murderers by their own admission. Killed more people than anything else in history. Responsible for almost all wars in history.
