Drunk and stupid.
Cops get uptight in situations like this. Why? Look around them... what if some dumb fans try to intercede? Two cops. Many fans.
The cops have no choice but to take control of the situation quickly and firmly.

Yep. I don't know why when people are in a large crowd they feel like they are above the law and can do what they want.
This is why these large drinking crowds are dangerous. I am sure glad I am not a cop there, too many drunk fans all on ego trips.
