    But why is a gay not allowed to be anti-gay?

    I smoke but I'm anti-smoking. Where's the scandal? It's possible to recognize a behaviour as unhealthy and advise against it, whilst engaging in it yourself. Helping others to avoid the mistakes you have yourself made is a noble endeavour.
