Stories from people who knew Malcolm X. He fought for African-American civil rights and racial segregation after converting to Nation of Islam in prison -- serving under the 'prophet' Elijah Mohammed. Expanded the Nation of Islam into a national organization because of his fiery speeches. Then discovered Elijah was siring children from teenage girls. Broke away from Nation of Islam, went to mecca, and, deeply affected by what he saw, became a world visionary preaching integration. Was assassinated by Elijah Mohammed's followers shortly thereafter.
Will continue to be recognized as one of America's greatest political speakers and civil rights leaders of all time. RIP Malcolm.
