    Weird comment.

There's a good chance you will forget about this guy like hundreds others that have been killed in the previous years.

To call people defending their country, believes and creed from invasion "fascist scum" is appaling and sheer ignorance on your part fellow LLer.

No one is trying to take over their country. If they'd have just stayed there and stopped blowing sh*t up for no reason in other countries we'd never have been there in the first place.

I did not realize the Taliban were defending their country. The Taliban are a Pashtun ideological movement spanning both the Afghan and Pakistan border who enforced their beliefs onto the Afghan people through terror (Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Suppression of Vice).

So, in this case you cannot say the Taliban are defending their country. These people are extremists who only want power for themselves so they can:
    - Prevent women from going to school
    - Prevent children from flying kites
    - Prevent people from listening to music
    - Prevent people from watching tv
    - Prevent people from deciding what they want for their own lives

So, in a nutshell, don't jump to conclusions based on one post fellow LLer.

Go back in history, maybe a few years before 911 events and you will realize that your country alongside the British long ****ed these people by installing and supporting the Zionist state who is turning into another Nazi regime.

The world would have been a better place if they found the Jews of Europe a place/country in Europe (where they belonged) than killing and taking over other people's land.

But again, the greed for oil and money as well as world dominance by American leaders who are the puppets of rich Zionists inside America (see Rothschilds or Rockefellers) destroyed the true morals and standards that the America was founded upon.

    That's the problem - not 911 son.

You see that's the general mistake even your policy makers are making.

You really think the Taliban were fighting the British and the Soviets before Americans? I hope your answer is NO.

Cuz they weren't - it is the Afghan culture (regardless of their ethnicity) that they will stand against the invaders/foreigners.

Anyone who is fighting (peasants, villagers, true patrtiots) is nowadays labeled as Taliban.

I'll give you an example: People in the east (Kunar province) have nothing to do with Taliban as they belong to Hezb-e Islami... a guerilla group that basically defeated the Soviets in the east... they call them Taliban too now... which is wrong.

Fighting has started in the so called peaceful north now as well - last time the popular belief was that the Taliban are Pashtuns from the south of the country as well as tribal areas - who are these people in provinces such as Kunduz, Badghis, Baghlan etc?

So you are mistaken my friend... there's more than your ignorant nutcase religious student fighting the occupiers.

I'm not your son first of all and I said nothing of 911. These people have been devoting their lives to these terror plots for decades. Don't talk like you know all.

So you are mistaken my friend... there's more than your ignorant nutcase religious student fighting the occupiers.

My previous posts are on point to this article considering this soldier was killed in Helmand province (Taliban heartland). Though, if you wish to broaden the scope of the discussion by throwing out points unrelated to anything I have said so far... so be it... so here we go...

I 100% agree that you cannot categorize all people in Afghanistan fighting NATO as Taliban (and religious nutcases). Is there legitimate resistance against NATO based on the fact that people just want to be left alone? Yes. Is there legitimate resistance against NATO based on frustration stemming from the corrupt, propped up Karzai government? Yes.

My point was you have to prevent these "ignorant nutcase religious students" from coming back into power since they were the ones providing safe havens to people with extremist ideologies (and yes these people were there to plan their bombings and attacks around the world). The Taliban was the last "government" in power before the US and NATO arrived.

Regarding Hizb-i-Islami, Hekmatyar formed an alliance with the Taliban against NATO. The people fighting in the Kunduz, Badghis, and Baghlan provinces would be both Taliban and Hizb-i-Islami. Could there be attacks from people outside these 2 groups? Of course, however the majority of the attacks are coming from the Taliban.

If you have articles providing information on these other groups (outside of the Taliban and Hizb-i-Islami) attacking NATO and a regular basis, please post some articles. Until then, I really don't see how I can be mistaken since you just went off on a tangent making assumptions on my previous posts.
