ORDERING A PIZZA IN 2010 (humor or prophecy)

This must be the first time I even slightly support the ACLU.

It seems to have escaped most on this thread that this little bit of black humor perfectly embodies the schizoid nature of the ACLU: Freud called this projection, but it’s only an Administration like Obama’s that would get close to this kind of invasion of privacy and monitoring
of personal information, buying habits and worse, More..

  • you say
"And I have no doubt that with Obama in charge, the ACLU will have NO problem with the government collecting enormous amounts of personal information. "

Now, I ask... as an extension of Bush's illegal wiretapping program?

    That's the one alright.

It all goes around and around. If you think governmental transgressions are the sole property of any one party, you are playing right into their hands.

  • Am I the only person who doesn't really care if this happens?
I've got nothing to hide, I don't care who knows my personal info.

  • Not far out at all. Congress is working on a bill that will make everyone's personal medical history public record. If they pass national health care, they want a government review board to handle any and all cases and they will decide what care you get.
