  • Watch the US gov't shoot itself in the foot and stick to the American working man by allowing their car market over here to try to demolish the American car market. American cars have made a remarkable turnaround and we don't need those things here.

  • Is Chery how the Chinese pronounce Chevy?

Actually, the #1 car made & sold in China is a Buick (LaCrosse)...and its a very high $$$ luxury car there.

The Nr1 made and sold cars in China are VW

It is rare to see a Buick (LaCrosse) on the street
The ex Daewoo labeled Buicks , these are quite popular

That is the old daewoo relabeled as Buick

and i dont think it is best selling car , they are on the road but lot less then the germans and the japs

they take that over from china.org.cn/

      but my idea not acurate
Not 1 jap in the list and it "stinks" from the japs on the road

They also put the Xiali on nr 8
I never see that car on the road , only one time in a showroom

I did 300 km today and i see about 4 buicks .......1 of them was a very old model

  • Chery is the partner to manufacture LandRovers AND Jaguars in China so I'd be surprised if they aren't to for the job... sounds like a lot of racism and sour grapes to be honest

  • Any chance of it passing the crash tests?

    Posted Jul-1-2012 By

    • @hatemosquito I saw a video of crash testing Chinese cars- they failed miserably. Cabin intrusion, airbag failure, hood coming through windshield... pretty bad. I doubt they could export them to the US and meet any kind of safety regulation.

    • @H3dgehog
The International Labor Organization (ILO) estimates that around the world, about 250 million children between the ages of five and fourteen work. Of these 250 million children, 120 million of them work full time, with 61% of them working in Asia, 32% in Africa, and 7% in Latin America . In Asia, with China being a leader in the manufacturing business, it's no surprise that they would house 61% of the 120 million full time child laborers.
