New action and new scandal by the Golden Dawn on Friday evening, in the city of Rafina, in Attica region, during the celebration of the Virgin Mary. As the police was away, some 50 militants of the far right party, led by two deputies, controlled the immigrated hawkers who had settled in the traditional market place. Those who could justified to be in order were let alone, the others were drove out and their stands destroyed.
As an answers, the police lunched this Monday an operation around the headquarters of the party in Athenes, controlling every cars passing by...
The party got 7% of the vote and 18 MP's, loosing three, in last general election and is known to get votes by helping people to get rid of problems, they have famously cleaned out Athens' downtown from immigrated thugs who used to harass the neighbourhood.

The association of Greek little shop owners, who has been complaining for a long time about the unfair competition of illegal workers, has praised the action of Golden Dawn and wished it to be "extended throughout the country".
