Chinese girl rescued from underneath car, caught on CCTV (Wenzhou,China)

(December 12th, 2011) A five-year-old girl has had a lucky escape when she was rescued by passers-by after she was found trapped under the wheels of a car in eastern China. CCTV captured the accident involving the moving Honda CRV in Wenzhou city in Zhejiang Province, China. Ms Zhou, a witness of the accident, recalled what happened.

"The little girl squatted on the ground, got angry with her mother and refused to leave. The car turned around the corner and failed to pay attention to that girl.

"Then the girl got stuck under the car. Her mother was screaming over there," she said. Passers-by managed to free the trapped girl by lifting the vehicle up and pulling her out from underneath.

  • Isnt it wierd so many chineese kids just sit/play in the road? And they are allways girls, almost like the parents put them there....

  • There are some great parenting skills. It looks like the parents were reprimanding her and even hit her on the head. Then they left her sitting in the middle of a busy street. WTF is wrong with the Chinese? They really seem to have old hearts when it comes to the welfare of others. They don't seem to value human life at all.

  • The only reason anyone bothered to help is because it was the mother and it was her child. The driver probably saw the kid sitting on the road.... I wouldn't put anything past chinese people based on what I have seen on liveleak.
