I've know many blokes over the years who have been involved with the SAS/ SBS in ancillary roles I.e. logistics/ signalling etc - they then just can't seem to help themselves from giving a little - psst, I was in the SAS you know years later. There's not a boozer in the UK without some bullshitter who was 'in' the SAS.
