I travel a lot there, mostly to Mexico city and believe me! Not a single bad encounter has ever happen to me! South of Mexico City is more peaceful, you don't see or hear all the rubbish that is happening in the north, people down there is even more friendly! Canadian style! :) I really like that!

I had a very nice experience with the Mexican marines in the State of Chiapas, Mexico, I went to see the Mayan ruins in Palenque and they had a checkpoint, the marines were absolutely professional and courteous with me, my g/f, my little brother, his g/f and our guide.
The really funny thing I remember the most is, their expressions when they heard 2 sun burn Brits, me and my brother, speaking in Spanish, you won't believe the really good time we had all of us (Except my g/f and my brother g/f, More..

Legalize Drugs end prohibition...but Crimanalise the manufacturing in the "user countrys" so that these third world countrys can export it legally creating a industry that creates job and incomes,increasing wealth and security and a willingness to stay and work in there own countrys, America can then Tax the imports and regulate the industry..making money instead of spending it on enforcement ,these third world countrys need a income and we want there drugs its a no brainer really
